More Crappy Webcam Hemp Jewelry Photos

The hunt for the transfer cable has still not been completed. At this rate I’m going to get the DSLR cam long before I find the cable for the cam we have now. Anyway, here are a few more creations that I had a chance to complete this week – I really need some more free time because the beads are calling me!
The top is the massive pile of colored hemp I received this week – the bottom part of the tote are all of the beads I’ve been buying the past few weeks.
This is a close up of a bracelet I made with black and brown mix hemp, giving it that interesting pattern in the square knots. The skulls are carved bone beads, and the colored ones are mood beads that are heat sensitive. I love mood beads!
It’s way too hot here in York, so I’m sitting on front of a fan as I’m snapping the webcam pics. The problem with this and pendants is, of course, that it’s going to swing it around all over the place. Motion blur mushroom, anyone?
This is a side view of an alternating square knot bracelet with lampwork beads. I really need to find a macrame or hemp board that can handle that kind of work – it’s such a pain to shift around eight strands and keep everything even.
This is a necklace made out of ceramic beads. I have never worked with ceramic beads before, or even really given them a second glance. Until I saw them at the bead store. Oh god are they just wonderful. I really love the look of these ones, and I get the feeling that ceramic beads are going to be one of those things that continues to show up in my work.
Once again the fan decided to play a role in already shoddy photography by interrupting the lampwork bead bracelet picture. How rude!
